Managed IT Surrey respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it and how we look after it. We follow British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where it applies, Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

When you phone, email or send a form, we collect what you choose to tell us: usually your name, company, email address, phone number, office location, number of staff, industry, current IT arrangements, what you’re looking for, your timeline and any notes.

When you visit the site, our hosting provider records standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and the referring page, to keep the site secure and working.

How we use it

To reply to you, arrange and carry out a free IT review, prepare a proposal, provide the services you agree to, keep records of that work, and meet our legal obligations. We may phone or email you about your enquiry.

Who we share it with

With service partners who help us review your systems or deliver services you’ve asked for, and with the providers that host this website and deliver its email. They may use your information only for those purposes.

We never sell personal information. We disclose it otherwise only where the law requires.

Information on your systems

While supporting your business, our team may be able to see information stored on your computers, servers or Microsoft 365 accounts. We access only what the work requires, keep access logged where our tools allow, and never copy or keep your data beyond what the work needs.

Retention

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for these purposes and for legal and record-keeping requirements, then delete or anonymise it securely.

Safeguards

We use reasonable physical, administrative and technical safeguards, including multi-factor authentication, encryption and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If spam protection is switched on for our forms, it may set a cookie needed for that check.

Your rights
