Our aim

This site should work for everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboards, magnification or other assistive technology.

What we’ve done

The site is built to WCAG 2.1 Level AA, including:

• Semantic HTML with a logical heading order on every page
• Text alternatives for meaningful images, and titles and descriptions on diagrams
• Text and control colours checked against AA contrast ratios
• Full keyboard access, a visible focus outline and a skip-to-content link
• Labelled form fields, and a calculator that shows a result without JavaScript
• The monthly calendar, FAQs and model comparison built with native controls that work with assistive technology
• Moving parts, like the orbit diagram and the scrolling list, stopped when your device asks for reduced motion

Known gaps

Third-party components, such as a spam-protection widget on our forms if it’s switched on, may not fully meet our target. When we find a gap, we fix it.
